Domain Name Questions

How do I modify my DNS information?
1.
1) If you purchased your domain through HostingIt365, click here.
2) Click "Manage Your Domain".
3) Enter the username and password.
4) Click "Change DNS Info" and select the domain whose DNS you wish to alter.
5) Click the "Continue" button.
6) Replace the current servers with your new DNS info.
7) Click "Continue" and wait 24-48 hours for your changes to replicate worldwide.

If you DID NOT purchased the domain through HostingIt365, then login at your domain registrars website and change your DNS to those listed in the information email received after account activation.


2. How do I setup an addon domain?
1) Modify the addon domains' DNS to those of your primary domain name.
2) Wait 24-48 hours for the DNS changes to replicate worldwide.
3) Login to CPanel and click the link "addon domains".
4) Enter a addon domain and the folder that will contain your website files.
5) Enter a password.

Important Notes:
A) Addon domains cannot be pointed to existing subdomains.
B) The addon domain password is for FTP access to that specific folder only.


3. What if I require more addon domains?
You can always upgrade to another web hosting plans featuring a larger quantity, if you require additional addon domains.

4. Can I have multiple parked domain names?
Yes, you can by following these steps:
Yes. You can use the "Parked Domains" function in CPanel to park additional domain names to your main account.

1) Modify the addon domains' DNS to those of your primary domain name.
2) Wait 24-48 hours for the DNS changes to replicate worldwide.
3) Login to CPanel.
4) Click on "Parked Domains".
5) Enter a desired addon domain name and press "Add Domain".
